This policy explains what information Tidewell Advisors ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to tidewelladvisors.com and to the calls, emails and text messages we send.
Tidewell Advisors provides business advisory services on cash flow planning, cost and margin review, and growth planning. Our services are for businesses, and the information we handle is business information.
Text messaging and your mobile number
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party for any purpose. This exclusion applies to every category of sharing described in this policy, without exception.
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive messages, we use it to respond to your inquiry, schedule calls, and follow up on work you have asked us to do. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Full messaging terms are in our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
Information you give us
Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything you tell us about your business, including what you submit through the form on this site.
Business records you choose to share
Bank statements, profit and loss statements, lists of open invoices and bills, and similar records, when you provide them so we can prepare our advice.
Site and message activity
Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, and whether a message we sent was delivered or replied to.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule calls.
- To prepare forecasts, reviews and written recommendations for your business.
- To send you service messages about your inquiry or engagement by phone, email and text.
- To keep our opt-out records and meet our legal obligations.
- To operate, secure and improve this site.
How we share information
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with lenders, funding providers or marketing partners. Subject in all cases to the mobile-information exclusion above, we share information only as follows:
- Service providers. Companies that host our site, send our email and text messages, and store our records, acting only on our instructions.
- People you direct us to. For example, your accountant or bookkeeper, when you ask us to work with them.
- Legal requirements. Where required by law, subpoena or regulatory request, or to protect our rights.
- Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
Your choices
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message. We stop right away and keep your number on a do-not-contact list.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send.
- Calls. Tell us on any call and we will stop calling.
- Access and deletion. Use the form on our home page to ask what we hold about you or to ask us to delete it. We keep opt-out records permanently, because that is what stops us contacting you again.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, then delete it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, the date at the top changes, and the current version is always posted here.
